Linda Sue Russell White

Linda Sue Russell White, 64 of Milton, WV, formerly of Logan, WV passed away Wednesday, March 2 2016 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 30, 1951 at Lyburn, WV the daughter of the late Walter Melvin and Daisy Marie Russell. Linda was a 1969 graduate of Logan High School. She was a homemaker, a devoted wife and mother, and a very proud granny. She had a flair for fashion and a love for country music and popular culture. She was preceded in death by Ira Lee White, her husband of 46 years. Also preceding her in death were her sister Mary Francis Calloway of Madison, WV and her brother, Walter Melvin Russell Jr. of Holden, WV. She is survived by her daughters Christy Marie Blankenship and Robyn Ann Perovich both of Madison, WV and Iris Lea Miller of Milton, WV; her sons-in-law Ricky Blankenship, John Allen Perovich, and James Walter Miller; her grandchildren John Allen Perovich Jr., Bobby Lee Mitchell III, Kaytlin Sue Perovich, Seth Ira Mitchell, Olivia Brooke Miller, Madisyn Brooke Mitchell, and Connor Marshall Blankenship. She has three surviving sisters: Celia Ann Hatfield and Jody Hatfield both of Neibert and Carol Marie Farley of Chapmanville and three surviving brothers, Roy Russell of Lyburn, Emmett Russell of Neibert, and Michael Russell of Stollings. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday March 5, 2016 at James Funeral Home in Logan with Pastor Shane Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, WV. Visitation will be held Friday March 4, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Perovich, James Miller, John Perovich Jr., Bobby Mitchell, Seth Mitchell, Kurt Russell, and Michael Russell.
