Linda Vance

Linda Kay Vance, 61, of Peach Creek, WV departed this life on May 12, 2017 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital. She was born April 21, 1956 in West Hamlin, WV to Arthur and Loretta Willis of Crooked Creek. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Justin Michael, one nephew, Gregory Ryan, one niece, Miranda, and her big brother, Art Willis Jr. Linda was formerly employed by Willis Business Machines in Logan, WV. Her warm and friendly personality will leave an unforgettable mark on this world, as will her sense of humor. Linda was an avid reader who loved her dog, Tigger as one of her own children. In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 45 years, Wyatt “Gene” Vance, two children, James (Vickie) Vance and Jeremy Vance of Logan, one grandson, Dylan, three brothers Dan (Carol) Willis of Peach Creek, Gregory (Angela) Willis of Trace Fork, Scott (Amanda) Willis of Peach Creek, one sister, Brenda (Andy) McKenzie of Crooked Creek and her sister in law, Deborah (Terry) Vernatter, as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday May 17, 2017 at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Johnnie Faine officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
