Linda Jean Sexton

Linda Jean (Lockhart) Sexton of Crestview, FL went to be with the Lord August 2, 2019. She was born November 6, 1953 in Mingo County, WV to the late Rev. Clay and Phyllis (Lee) Lockhart. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Baxley; grandmother, Jane Lee; three brothers, Clayton Lockhart, Michael Lockhart, and Gary “Pat” Smith. Linda was a veteran of the US Army. She was a long-time resident of Chipley, Fl where she attended the First Baptist Church before making her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Daniellie (Mark) Browning at Crestview, FL. Linda also attended the Mt. Gay Freewill Baptist Church at Logan, WV. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Daniellie (Mark) Browning of Crestview, FL, brothers, Pastor Layton (Linda) Lockhart, and Kenneth Ray (Patty) Lockhart, both of Logan, WV; sister, Brenda Lockhart of Chapmanville, WV; sister-in-law, Karen Lockhart of Fremont, OH; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Mt. Gay Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Horn officiating.
