Linda Baisden

Linda Lane Baisden, 77 of Verdunville departed this life Sunday, April 28, 2024, at her home.

She was born February 14, 1947, in Boone County, WV to the late Edmond Kelly Bias and Virginia Catherine Bias. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Burke; sister, Shirley Miller; and brother-in-law, Jerry Miller.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Baisden of Verdunville; brother, Charles (Penny) Bias, sisters, Sandi (Danny) Baisden, Wanda (Albert) Hager, and Beverly (JD) Calhoun; daughters, Kathy (Larry) Sparks, Barbie (Jim) Joyce, and Shanda Copley; son, Brian (Karla) Baisden; grandchildren, Dakota and Summer Corbin, Hunter and Kama Corbin, Hunter Sparks, Chelsea and Ty Brown, Hayleigh Sparks, Jake and Sara Johnson, Jamie and Paige Joyce, Brenna Adkins, Brycen Baisden, Kendra, and Kiersten Hensley, and Jacob Copley; great-grandchildren, Maverick, Teddy, and Riley Corbin, Madeline Brown, Talon Sparks, Jacelyn, Raedon, and Spencer Sparks, Piper, Ember, and Jake Johnson Jr., and Finn Copley; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Akers-James Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024, at Valley View Memorial Park in Hurricane. Friends may call 1 hour before the services on Thursday, at the funeral home.
