Lillian "Mumsy" Swiney

Lillian Ruth Shilot Browning Swiney, best known as "Mumsy", was born May 30, 1925 in Kitchen West Virginia. She departed this life on Monday, December 19, 2016 following a brief illness at Logan Regional Medical Center. Mumsy retired from Baisden Brothers after 35 years of faithful service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Addie Endicott Shilot and Samuel Shilot. Her husbands Forrest (Bogg) Browning and Hursten Swiney. One son, David Browning, four brothers, Joe Shilot, Tom Shilot, Robert Shilot and Samuel Shilot, Jr. Two sisters, Virginia Malik and Rose Douglas, 3 grandsons, Michael Hainer, Gregory Hainer, Chris Hainer and 2 great grandsons Braxton Adams and Jerron Adams. Mumsy was a member of the West Logan Church of God. She was survived by two daughters, JoAnn (Jerry) Hainer of West Logan, WV and Brenda (Jim) Baxter of Logan, WV. One daughter in-law, Barbara Browning, of Logan, WV. One sister Patricia (Bob) Nichols of Huntington, WV. Five grandchildren, Jamie Browning, Mark (Wendy) Hainer, Jimmy Baxter, Rebecca (Rob) Adams and Jason (Carrie) Browning. 7 Great Grandchildren, Devin Lambert, Chasity (Micheal) Stallard, Jacy Baxter, Scout Adams, Jarrah Baxter, Greyson Hainer, David Browning and Carter Browning. 3 Great Grand Children, Taylor Lambert, LJ Lambert, and Camille Stallard. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Friday, December 23, 2016 at the West Logan Church of God with Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Family and friends may call from 6-9 Thursday, December 22, 2016 at West Logan Church of God. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Baxter, Jason Browning, Mark Hainer, Greyson Hainer, Rob Adams and Scout Adams.
