Lena Jane Lovette

LENA MULLINS LOVETTE, 89, formerly of Henlawson, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at Melborne, Florida, after a long illness. She was born October 5, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Emert and Sarah Lou Ellis. Preceding her in death was her first husband, Morris Mullins, and four sisters, Ernestine Stultz, Mary Hatcher, Ailine Spurlock and Mamie Lou Blevins, and five brothers, Joe Ellis, Bill Ellis, Pete Ellis, Jimmy Ellis and Charles Morris Ellis. Survivors include her husband, Walt Lovette; three sisters, Betty Chapman of Satellite Beach, Florida, Delana Rose Apitzsch of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Linda Cook of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Scott Ellis of West Logan, W.Va.; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at Highland Memory Gardens on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Melbourne Church of Christ, 810 Hollywood Blvd., West Melbourne, FL 32904 or Mount Dora Christian Academy and Children's Home, 301 West Thirteenth Avenue, Mount Dora, FL 32757.
