Larry Joe Richardson

Larry Joe Richardson 58 lifetime resident of Whitman passed away Saturday September 5, 2009 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1951 at Holden. He was also preceded in death by one brother Grady Lee Richardson. Larry was a retired coal miner. He is survived by his Mother and Father Ruby and Bernace Richardson of Whitman, One Son Larry Kevin Richardson of Whitman, ex wife Edna (Sargent) Chapman of Charleston, Two Brothers Gary Rhein (Karen) Richardson of McConnell and Gary "Bub" (Sandy) Richardson of Monaville, one special life long friend Garry Doss of Mud Fork and a great host of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday September 9, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the 14 Whitman Freewill Baptist Church at Whitman with Rev. Henry Damron and Rev. Alvis Porter Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Tuesday September 8, 2009 at the church. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
