Rev. Larry L. Cale, a devoted and compassionate man of faith, has passed away at the age of 72. Reverend Cale's life was marked by his deep commitment to serving others through his ministry as a Pastor and his unwavering dedication to spreading the teachings of the gospel of Christ.

Born on October 4, 1951, in Valley Point, WV, Larry Cale grew up surrounded by love and support from his family. He was the beloved son of Hebert F. Cale and Helen Connor Cale Blosser, with step-father Melvin G. Blosser also preceding him in death. Larry was also preceded in death by his brothers, John F. Cale, David B. Cale, and step-brother Roger Blosser.

Larry's journey of faith began early in life, shaped by his experiences and upbringing. He attended Valley High School before furthering his education at the Nazarene Bible College where he acquired the knowledge and understanding necessary to embark on his spiritual journey.

With a calling to serve others, Reverend Cale entered into ministry as a Pastor, touching countless lives along the way. His career was characterized by dedication and devotion as he served multiple congregations with love, guidance, and compassion. Over the course of his career spanning several decades, Rev. Larry L. Cale served at Shinnston Church of the Nazarene, Lizemore Church of the Nazarene, Sistersville Church of the Nazarene, Clendenin Church of the Nazarene, Logan Church of the Nazarene (where he initially retired from), Belle Church of the Nazarene, Logan Church of the Nazarene (where he returned for a second time), Valley Grove Church of the Nazarene, South Charleston Grace Church of the Nazarene, and Gallagher Church of the Nazarene.

Beyond his pastoral duties, Larry had several hobbies and interests that brought him joy outside of his vocation. He was an avid and skilled golfer, relishing the time he spent on the golf course. Additionally, Larry found solace and fulfillment in his woodwork projects, spending hours in his basement crafting beautiful and intricate pieces.

On October 13, 2023, Reverend Larry L. Cale passed away peacefully at his residence in Logan, WV. His loss is deeply felt by his surviving family and dear friends, who were blessed to have known him and witness his unwavering faith. He is survived by his loving wife Donna G. Cale of Logan, WV, his son Larry L. Cale Jr. of Junction City, KS, and his son Robert Cale (Paula) of Confluence, PA.

Larry also leaves behind a legacy of love in the hearts of his cherished grandchildren: Arielle, Danielle Nicole, Brett, Summer; as well as great-grandchildren Michael "Zeke", Zeo, Athena, and Isabella. His loving presence will be greatly missed but forever treasured.

In addition to his immediate family members, Reverend Larry L. Cale is survived by loving sister-in-law Carolyn Cale of Masontown, WV; brothers Donald Cale of Bretz, WV and Rick (Danelle) Cale of Reedsville, WV; sister Ruth Anne (John) Martin of Kingsport, GA; sister Kim Kisner (Anthony) of Westover, WV; step-sister-in-law, Karen Blosser of Bretz, WV; step-sister Brenda (James) Strahin of Cascade WV; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom he cherished dearly.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation service to pay their respects to Rev. Larry L. Cale on October 16th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Logan Church of the Nazarene located at 410 Dingess St in Logan, WV. The funeral service will be held on October 17th at 2:00 PM at the same church.

Rev. Larry L. Cale will be remembered as a dedicated and loving Pastor, a respected member of his community, and, most importantly, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His unwavering faith, compassionate spirit, and genuine love for others have left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory forever be a blessing to all who knew him.
