Kyrah Lea Curry

Kyrah Lea Flint Curry 48 of Whitman went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 30, 2011 at CAMC General in Charleston with her family at her side. Kyrah was born on December 10, 1962 in Cleveland, Ohio she is the daughter of James and Ruby Flint of Whitman and was united in marriage on June 16, 1979 to Jonathan Michael Curry of Whitman. Kyrah was an active member of 5 & 6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church. She worked at Family Discount Pharmacy at Mt. Gay. She loved spending time with her granddaughters. Those left to cherish her memory are her mom and dad James and Ruby Flint, her loving husband of 31 years Michael Curry, one beloved son Levi (Carrie) Curry of Whitman, two very special granddaughters Lacy Elizabeth and Kylie Marie Curry, one brother James Kelly (Regina) Flint, two sisters Kathy (Jim) Southers and Kay (Carl) Elkins all of Whitman. Her nephews James Flint Jr. of Columbus, Ohio, Matthew Southers and Wesley Flint of Whitman. She also had one very special niece Samantha Joy Simpson of Whitman. Preceding her in death was her grandparents the late James and Reba Skeens Flint Sr. and the late Rush and Sharlene Elkins. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 2, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at the 5 & 6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Light and Pastor Joaquine Ooten officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Family and Friends may visit between 12:00 noon and time of service on Saturday.
