Kenneth Ray Johnson

Kenneth Ray Johnson Sr., 74 of Logan departed this life Sunday October 28, 2018 at Trinity Healthcare Services of Logan. He was born July 3, 1944 at Big Creek, WV to the late Emily Johnson. In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by: his wife Phyllis Strother Johnson; and brother, Ronald Johnson. Those left to cherish his memory include: his sons, Kenneth Ray (Angel) Johnson Jr. and Brian (Barbara) Johnson; daughter, Tina Tomblin (Gregory Collins); grandchildren, Kelsie Johnson, Ruby Vance, Emilee Johnson, Montana Ward, and Crystal Ward; great-grandchild, Paxton Vance; and a host of other family and friends. Per his request Mr. Johnson’s remains are to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Akers-James Funeral Home.
