Judy C. Morris

Judy C. Morris, 65 of Verdunville passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital.

She was born August 6, 1956, at Holden to Iretta Marcum and the late Anthony Marcum. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Matthew Marcum and her 1st husband, James Workman.

Judy leaves behind her husband, David Morris; her loving daughter, Christy (Billy) Hall; grandson, Billy Hall III (Haley Chambers); her mother, Iretta Marcum; sisters, Linda, Shirley, and Tina; brother-in-law, Jerry Robinette; stepdaughters, Vicky Morris, and Christy Wakefield; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Whitley, and Dawson; mother-in-law Betty McKenzie; and her fur baby, Mini.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, January 10, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Elbert Collins and Glenn Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Monday at the funeral home.
