Judy Belcher

Judy Belcher 65 of Mt. Gay went to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 16, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. She was born August 29, 1945 at Logan a daughter of the late Kenny and Luverna Workman Carter. Judy was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Franklin (Sonny) Carter and sister Beatrice Stiltner of Pennsylvania. Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter Ruta Belcher and one son Frankie Belcher both of Monroe, Michigan, sister Glenna (Dale) Criesher of Mt. Gay with whom she resided, brother Paul Carter of Mt. Gay, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted Friday November 19, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Thursday November 18, 2010 at James Funeral Home. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
