John Perry

John Edwin Perry, 71 of Ethel WV departed this life on Wednesday Feb 28, 2018 at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation in Huntington, WV. He was born on October 12, 1946 in Logan WV the son of the late Orleda and Rush Perry Sr. John was a decorated member of the Air Force and retired after serving 22 years. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Jim Hanes of Toano VA. He was a member of 20 Whitman Community Church. John believed in hard work, cooking, telling great stories and loved his family very much. Survivors include his wife Teresa C Workman Perry of Logan WV; a daughter Amber Perry of Glen Allen VA; a son Blane Perry of Manassas VA; a son Brett Perry of Cleveland OH; a stepson Joshua Ball of Huntington VA; a brother Rush Perry of Norge VA; 2 sisters: Linda Padgett of Hampton VA and Margaret Bridgford of Lake Placid FL; 7 grandchildren Calob and Dylan (Amber), Jackson and Grayson (Blane), Sarah and Brooke (Brett), Joseph Ball (Joshua) and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 5pm Monday March 5 at New Day Family Worship 8 Chapel Lane Monaville WV 25601 . The family will be receiving visitors at their home before and after the service.
