Jerry R. Stidham, 76, of Valley View, Holden, passed away Friday, November 30, 2007 at his residence. Her was born July 8, 1931 in Logan to the late Rev. Jerry and Mary Stidham. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Hester Stidham and a brother, Virgil Stidham. He was a member of the #20 Whitman Community Church and was employed by McCormick's in Logan. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Irene Conley Stidham. His children; Bobby (Meg) Stidham of Columbus, Ohio, Greg (Robin) Stidham of Valley View, Debbie (Ricky) Dillon of Whitman, Mary Ann (Dave) Mullins of Ripley. His grandchildren; Keith, Keri, Buddy, Bryan, Sabrina (Lance), Erica (Ryan), Ricky Jr. (Chisa), Kyle, Jared, Shaun (Jennifer), Teresa (Doug), Denise (Brandon) and Jason (Ashley). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and his sisters; Patsy (Caudle) Adkins of Huntington and Dori (Vern) Wilson of Houston, Texas. Jerry is also survived by his community and his church family. Visitation will be Monday, December 3, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the #20 Whitman Community Church. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the #20 Whitman Community Church with Rev. Joaquine Ooten and Rev. C.J. Adkins officiating. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pallbearers will be; Buddy Stidham, Bryan Stidham, Keith Stidham, Shaun Adkins, Jason Adkins and Brandon Tomblin. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle and Jared Mullins.
