Jane Podunavac

Jane Podunavac, 67, of Henlawson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 after an extended illness. She was born March 17, 1940 in Mill Creek to the late Benjamin and Mamie White Ward. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Ward, and her sister, Lucille Pridemore. Jane was a faithful member for 37 years of the West Logan Church of God. She was a longtime employee of G.C. Murphy and retired from Logan General. Survivors include her loving husband and best friend of 49 years and 6 months, Ray Podunavac. Two sons; Mike (Kathy) Podunavac of West Logan and Scott Podunavac of Henlawson. One daughter, Cheryl Elliott of Mill Creek. Her grandchildren; Brian (Michelle) Podunavac, Jason (Erica) Elliott, Jessica Elliott, Sarah Podunavac, Travis Podunavac, and a very special great- granddaughter, Braylee Podunavac and four step- grandchildren; Joey Neece, Kacie Allen , Michael Allen and Anessa Allen. Jane is also survived by her brothers; Samuel (Betty) Ward, Daniel (Ruby) Ward and Paul (Shirley) Ward all of Mannsfield, Ohio. Her sisters; Sharon (Kenneth) McDonald of Melbourne, Fla. And Faye White of Warner Robbins, Ga. Her sister-in-law, Judy Ward of Culloden. And a very special nephew, Harold Ward Sr. of Henlawson. Jane will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 11, 2008 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the West Logan Church of God with Rev. James Hughes and Rev. Roger Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pallbearers will be; Russell Ward, Jeremy Podunavac, Joe Codispoti, Eugene Adkins, James Rice and Tommy Vance .
