Howard (Muck) Adams Jr. of Mudfork departed this life Thursday September 7, 2006 at his residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born November 3, 1944 at Holden he was the son of the late Howard and Brookie (Canterbury) Adams. Howard was a machinist for 40 years and was employed at Rio Group. He gave his life to God. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was survived by his wife of 43 years, Toni Jean (Lawson) Adams.Three children; Howard Keith and Paula Adams both of Mudfork. Two daughters; Drema Lynn Jarvis of Mudfork and Stephannie Adams and one son-in-law John Hoffman of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Six Grandchildren: Keisha and Derek Adams of Mudfork, Kara Jarvis and Corey Fleming of Mud Fork, Payton and Madison of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Two Brothers: Don and Darlene Adams and Charles and Nancy Adams both of Canton, Ohio, Two Sisters: Imogene and Tracy Butcher of Peach Creek, Joyce and Roy Evans of Mudfork and Brother-in-laws and Sister-in-laws and a special Brother-in-law Dickie Evans and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. There will be a celebration of his life at the home of his son, Keith Adams of Mudfork on Saturday September 9, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made to Dignity Hospice of Chapmanville. The Body will be cremated. James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
