Herbert Saunders

Herbert Len Saunders, 63, of Logan, formerly of Whitman, departed this life to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 27, 2014 following a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Mary Saunders, his wife Linda Gail Huckeby Saunders and one son, Eric Lee Saunders, all formerly of Logan. Those left to cherish his memory are: one daughter, Tamara (Robert) Mosley of Logan: two grandchildren, Erica Lynn Saunders and Emilee Renee Mosley, both of Logan; one sister, Sheila (Leonard) Rowell of Jacksonville, FL; four brothers, John E. Saunders of Logan, Mike (Kathy) Saunders of Charlotte, NC, Mark D. Maynard of Jacksonville, FL and the late Randall (Sandy) Saunders of Nitro, WV. Herbert also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, and long time family friends who will miss and love him dearly. The family would like to thank these people who helped take care of him: Herbert’s nieces, Amber and Sara Workman, Sabrina Sargent and Mason Adkins, who are friends of the family. Cremation services will be conducted and there will be a memorial service held at the First Baptist Church of McConnell in the fellowship hall. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers please send all donations to the American Diabetes Association and the Red Heart Heart Association. Condolences may be left at James Funeral Home.
