Henry Ralph Browning, 73, of Yolyn, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at his home.
Born on December 6, 1941 in Whitesville, WV, he was the son of the late Henry and Emily Jones Browning of Mansfield, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Browning and his brother, Carl Browning.
Ralph was a Marine Corps Veterans and a retired coal miner who loved the Lord and his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, storytelling, and his â79 Lincoln.
Ralph was a loving father of Sue (Bob) Mullins, Sarah (Alby) Mills, and Buffy (Jerry) Browning-Allmond, all of Yolyn; and his step-son, Jason (Ashley) Blankenship of Holden. He was the loving brother of Bob Browning, Linda Nelson (Angel), Glenn (Becky) Browning, all of Mansfield, Ohio, Thelma Kay Browning of Michigan, and Deloris Evans of Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Ashley (Mike) Mullins Ranson, Stephanie (Johnny) Childress, Braxton and Brooklyn âQueenâ Mills, Christian Allmond, Cole and Crew Blankenship; great-grandchildren: Brantley Childress and Elijah, Dalton, and Ryker Ranson; his special longtime friend Faye Browning, and his right hand man, James Hill.
A celebration of life will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2014 at the Yolyn Community Church with Albert Cline and Shane Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill. Ralph will be carried to rest by his family and friends. Friends may gather at the church from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2014.
