Goldie Neece

Goldie Neece, 78 of Holden, WV departed this life Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at her residence. She was born May 22, 1943, at Holden, WV to the late Zeri and Okla Cyrus. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Neece; her son, Ronald Neece; and grandson, Johnny Workman. She is survived by her children, Carla Neece of Logan, WV, Sabrina Workman of Holden, WV, and Christopher Neece of Holden, WV; siblings, James (Joyce) Cyrus of Dayton, OH, Cecil (Glenna) Cyrus of Orlando, FL, Esther (Ken) Shumard of Kettering, OH, Bob (Barb) Cyrus of Xena, OH, Carolyn (Paul) Toth of Dayton, OH, and David-Zeka (Susie) Cyrus of Huntington, WV. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Akers-James Funeral Home.
