Gloria Stafford

Gloria Stafford, 78 of Matheny, WV departed this life Friday, September 23, 2022, at St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV.

She was born May 27, 1944, in Man, WV to the late Walter and Lena (Rosser) Copley. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James D. Robertson; second husband, Benny Stafford; her son, Phillip Lane Robertson; brothers, Murhl Copley, Wallace Copley, Ronald Copley, and Ralph Copley; nephews, Davy Robertson, Dale Morgan, and Kevin Robertson.

Gloria met no strangers. She loved hanging with friends at concerts and visiting with family and friends at Sunday dinner.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Raelena) Robertson; grandsons, James David Robertson, and Cruz McLain Robertson; granddaughter, Cameron Rine; sisters-in-law, Margaret Copley, and Betty Morgan; brothers-in-law, Jack (Joyce) Robertson, and David (Darlene) Robertson. Gloria is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Honoring her wishes her remains have been cremated. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Roland Cook officiating.
