Gloria Butcher, 64 of Holden left this life to be with Jesus January 12, 2016 at Pittsburg University Hospital. She was born April 7, 1951 in Logan the daughter of the late Robert Marcum and Ora Russell Marcum of Mud Fork. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by 4 sisters: Kay Lester, Linda Lester, Joann Maynard, Patty Thompson and 1 brother Big Jim Marcum. Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband William Butcher of Holden; 1 daughter Lillian (Nikki) Harvey; 2 sons Donny Harvey of West Logan and Justin Harvey of Holden; 3 sisters Bambie Spaulding of Mud Fork, Brenda Fields of Saint Albans, Libby Compton of Mud Fork; 2 brothers Tolbert Marcum of Kentucky, Robert Marcum of Charleston and 7 grandchildren Allyssa Harvey, Mady Wells, Jaelyn Dillion, Erick Harvey, Allison Harvey, Gracie McCloud, and Phenyx Harvey. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday January 19, 2015 at James Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday January 18 also at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family.
