Glenna Calloway

Glenna Reba Calloway (nee Canterbury) passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, Feb 1, 2011 after complicatins from a fall. Glenna, age 83 resided In North Royalton, OH for the past six years, previously in Logan, WV, and in Raliegh County, WV. Preceding her in death, her parents, Edgar Canterbury and Vinnie Canterbury (nee Gore), her beloved husband Clyde Calloway, Senior, a beloved son, Earl Edward Calloway, sister Carrie Sluss (nee Canterbury), brothers Woodrow Canterbury, Harold Canterbury, and Darold Canterbury. Surviving children are Clyde Calloway, Jr (Alonda) of Bolt, WV: Ronnie Calloway (Retha) of Okla City, OK; Donnie Calloway (Vickie) of Okla City, OK and Wilma McCray (Jimmy) of N Royalton, OH; brothers: Emil Canterbury(Phyllis) of West Logan, WV, Sherman Canterbury of Lyburn, WV, Shirley Canterbury of Cleveland, OH, and Louanna Goldrick of Parma, OH. Glenna leaves a beloved sister-in-law Alma Calloway of Fairdale, WV and a host of > grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. > Glenna was a holyghost filled christian of many years. She loved the lord with all her heart and loved giving testimony as to the many miracles and blessings the lord had bestowed upon her and her family. She was a wonderful wife and mother as well. In the mid 1950's she trained at Logan General Hospital for practical nursing. She loved taking care of others and feeling needed. She will be forever treasured and missed by all. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday February 6, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Cantley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
