George Ghee

George Ghee II, 52 of Whitman, WV departed this life Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born July 3, 1968 at Logan, WV to George Sr and Lois (McCloud) Ghee. George was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Ghee. Mr. Ghee attended the Church of Living God at Stollings, WV. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his wife, Joyce (Woods) Ghee; brother, Tracy (Summer) Ghee; sisters, Judy (Jeff) Adams, and Christine (Raymond) Robinson; stepsons, Alex Hanshaw, and Nick Hanshaw. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Randall Shell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Raymond Epperheart, Raymond Epperheart Jr, Tracy Ghee, John Ghee, Chaston Ghee, and Nick Hanshaw.
