Geneva ("Neva") Marcum Baisden

Geneva "Neva" Baisden 83 of Winter Haven, FL formerly of Dingess passed away August 19, 2015 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Florida. She was born August 10, 1932 in Holden, WV a daughter of the late Hiram and Nancy Damron Marcum. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Orvil Baisden, Son Jimmy Baisden, Granddaughter Crystal Prince, great granddaughter Ryanna Kayleigh Bird. Brothers Frank and Larry Marcum. She is survived by her children Carol and Fred Browning of Winter Haven, FL, Kay and Don Johnson of Groveport, OH. Brothers Carlos (Leona) Marcum, Dingess, WV, Silas Marcum, Columbus, OH, Hiram (Janet) Marcum of Dingess, WV. Sister Marcella (Richard) Townsend of Tennessee. Grandchildren Paul Browning of Kissimmee, FL, Melissa Browning Kaufman of Columbus, OH and Katrina (Darrin) Smith of Chapmanville, WV. Eight great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the McCloud Cemetery on 12 Pole in Dingess. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday also at the funeral home. James Funeral Home is in charge.
