Garnett Marie Frye

Garnett Marie Frye, 90 of Logan, WV, widow of Donald Frye, passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Logan, WV on September 22, 1935 to Artha and Ernie Bias. She was a homemaker and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lillian Hicks, Janice Szucs, Francis Sellards and one brother, Charles Bias.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin Richards (Greg )63 of Harts, WV and son, Donnie (Laura) Frye 60 of Scott Depot, WV. Three grandchildren, Casey (Jenna) Frye, Newport News, VA, Camille Frye, Morgantown, WV and Christian Frye, Scott Depot, WV.

She was a devoted member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene.

She will be remembered for her kindness, love of her church family and her greatest love, her three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday August 31, 2026 at James Funeral Home in Logan, WV with visitation from 11 am to 1 pm with the funeral service following at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Logan Church of the Nazarene.
