Garland Doss

Garland Doss 66 of Logan passed away Monday July 5, 2010 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. He was born September 7, 1943 at Chapmanville. He was the son of the late Holland and Flora Mae Dingess Doss. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one infant brother Elzie Soloman Doss, Lee Doss and Ott Holland Doss.Those left to cherish his memory include five sisters Yantie (Robert) Ward of Logan, Susan (James) Edwards of Phoenix, Az., Matilda (Buddy) Pierce of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Violet Chafin of Dallas, Texas, Ruby Bridges of Coucil Bluffs, Ia., three brothers Dale Doss of Cleveland, Ohio, Samuel (Beth) Doss of Logan and Franklin Doss of Crawley Creek also many nephews,nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Friday July 9, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Randy Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
