Francis Adkins

Frances Adkins 84, passed away Thursday October 1, 2015 at Genesis Healthcare. Born June 4, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Everett and May White. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gene Adkins; one daughter, Pauline Baisden; and one son, Jimmy Lee Adkins. She is survived by her children, Peewee(Debbie) Adkins of Holden, WV; Glenna Smith of Wilkesboro, NC; Patty(Earl) Walls of Hewett, WV; Teddy Adkins of Henlawson, WV; Michael(Kim) Adkins of McCarr, KY; Sherry(Drew) Jarvis of Logan, WV; Steve Adkins of Charleston, WV; Mary(Danny) Dean of Whitman, WV; Trista(Allen) Fraley of Bonneau, SC and brothers Frank(Carol) White of Huntington, WV; and James White of Kistler, WV. She had 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday, October 5 visitation will be at 11 a.m. and services at 1 p.m. at James Funeral Home, with Rev. Scott Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be family.
