Fisher Frye

Fisher Frye, 78 of Dingess departed this life Friday January 6 at his residence. He was born June 20, 1938 in Wayne County to the late Arman Frye and Florence Maynard Frye. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his sister, Freda Tomblin; brothers, Arman Frye Jr., Bernie Frye, and Glen Frye. Fisher was a retired auto worker from General Motors and he loved to bowl. Those left to cherish his memory include: his brother, Dallas Frye; sisters, Eulah Hatfield and Joyce Cantley; he also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 10 at Akers-James Funeral Home in Logan with Rev. Billy Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Frye Cemetery at Verdunville. Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the services Tuesday also at the funeral home.
