Elmer McCloud
January 21, 1925 — December 17, 2021
Elmer McCloud, 96, of Dingess departed this life December 17th, 2021 at his home. He was born January 21st., 1925, the son of the late Miles and Viola McCloud. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
He pastored several churches and was a retired UMWA member.
He was married 73 years to Ruth Hall McCloud and had 6 children, Iretta (William) Deskins, David (Dinah) McCloud, Debbie McCloud Conley, Connie (Von) Harless, James McCloud, and Gerena Collins. They had 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, December 22nd, at 1:00, at the family cemetery at Dingess.
