Elizabeth Ann (Staten) Toler, 89 of Davin, WV passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at Logan Regional Medical Center following a short illness.
Born February 13, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Eva (Senter) Staten. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Millard Ray Toler; great-granddaughters, Samantha and Winona Reid; brothers, Elmer Staten Jr., and Edsel Staten; sisters, Aileen Staten Vickers, Kathryn Staten Hawkins, Shirley Staten Walls, Billie Jean Staten Barton, and Rita Staten Moore.
Elizabeth was a member of the Cyclone Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her 4 sons, Timothy Toler (Rhodella) of Justice, WV, Steven Toler (Penny) of Mebane, NC, Richard Toler (Joan) of Birch River, WV, and Jeffery Toler (Sandy) of Canvas, WV; grandchildren, Ryan Toler (BJ) of Morgantown, WV, Justin Toler (Alicia) of Bonaire, GA, Reagan Case (Greg) of Centerville, OH, Kerri Zaferatos (Dino) of Durham, NC, Miranda Toler of Oceana, WV, Richard Toler Jr. (Leslie) of Oceana, WV, Jeremy Toler (Alisha) of Mannington, WV, Jordan Bennett (Kyle) of Craigville, WV, Zackery Toler of Dunbar, WV, Lora Toler of Russellville, WV, and Kendra Toler of Canvas, WV; step-grandchildren, Brent Justice (Heather) of Gilbert, WV, Barrett Justice (Gina) of Daniels, WV, and Steven Justice (Angela) of Portland, OR; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Staten Toler of Oceana, WV, and special friend, Polly Lyons.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Anthony Toparis, the nurses, and staff at Logan Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Akers-James Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Rev. Stephen Walls, and he will be assisted by Robert Lyons, and Tony Haught. The family will receive visitors 1 hour prior to the services Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either Dignity Hospice of Southern WV or the Cyclone Missionary Baptist Church.
