Edward L. Kitchen II, 31, of Logan died September 3, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.
He was born August 21, 1980 in Logan a son of Carolyn Haynes Kitchen and the late Eddie Kitchen. Also preceding him in death were his grandparents Ed Haynes, Leonard and Pearl Kitchen. Uncle Bill Haynes and cousin Kyly Haynes.
He graduated from Logan High School in 1998 and was employed by the Pepsi Bottling Group of Logan. He loved his job and his Pepsi family. Edward loved footbal especially his favorite team the Chicago Bears. He loved fishing and was a member of the USA Bassin and also a member of the Local Union 505.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Kitchen of Logan. His mother Carolyn Kitchen, sister Beth (Teddy) Thompson. His grandmother Joan Haynes, Aunt Deborah Trivette, William Haynes his nephews Colton Thompson, Nathaniel Gerhardt and Oliver Gerhardt.
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg Mullins officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com. Pallbearers will be Mark Keyser, Aaron Preece, Larry Thompson, Bobby Browning, David Nelson, John Jeffrey and Josh Keyser. Honorary Pallbearers will be William Haynes and Teddy Thompson.
