Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters, Violet Sheppard and Sue Bush, one brother, Arlie Bush Sr. and one niece, Cyndi Gentry.
Earl was a retired heavy equipment operator for 30 years. He worked at Hobet Mining and Arch Coal Companies. He loved his job and often referred to it as playing with life size Tonka toys. The last position he had was reclamation and it was his favorite. He loved making the landscape beautiful again the way God intended. He was a Christian and an active member of #20 Whitman Community Church for 32 years. He served as a deacon of the church for several years, Sunday school teacher for the teen boys, bassist for the church choir and the âBack Porch Singersâ as the pastor often referred to them. He played bass guitar for the gospel group The Joyful Noise for several years and MRP Rock band before getting saved. He always had a love for music and shared that love with his family.
Earl was the type of person who never met a stranger and everyone who met him never forgot him. He had a great sense of humor and was always making people laugh. He had a knack of finding humor in every situation. Most importantly he was a child of God and witnessed to everyone about what the Lord had done in his life.
