Donald Marcum

Donald Lloyd Marcum Sr., 76, of Logan passed away Thurs., Sept. 3, 2015, at home. Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Eva Gay Marcum; daughter, Brenda Adams; grandson, Joe Adams; two sisters, Eleanor Damron and Shirlene Lieving; two brothers, Conal Marcum and Virgil Starr, and his loving dog Daisy. Survivors include his son, Donald Lloyd Marcum Jr. (Sally); five daughters, Darlene (Jim) Gibson, Patricia (Marvin) Rollins, Abilene (Sanford) Pierce, Karen (Robert) Adams, and Sharon (John) Ferkul; sister, Christine (Wayne) Toppings; four brothers: Jerry Marcum, Dennis (Vanessa) Marcum, Darrell (Aracelly) Marcum, and Ronnie (Linda) Starr; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; one very special friend, Melinda Canterbury; his precious dog Baby Dee, and a host of family and friends. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sat., Sept. 12, at Varney Branch Cemetery in Logan. James Funeral Home of Logan is in charge of arrangements.
