Donald (June Bug) Anthony Lambert

Donald Anthony “June Bug” Lambert, 51 of Huntington, WV formerly of Holden, WV went to be with the Lord Monday April 15, 2019 at Harbor Healthcare of Ironton at Ironton, OH following a long illness. He was born March 29, 1968 at Logan, WV to Sharon Gail Vance Lambert Bryant of Huntington, WV and the late Donald Floyd Lambert. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by: his brother, Bryan Dwight Lambert; his maternal grandparents, Laurel Odell and Virginia (Greene) Vance; and, paternal grandparents, John and Matilda (Carpenter) Lambert. Donald was a retired over the road truck driver. He was a graduate of Logan High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He served his basic training at Fort Jackson, SC and he was a Satcom Operator in Mons, Belgium. In addition to his mother he is also survived by: his sisters, Melissa (Cleon) Hudson of Cross Lanes, WV, and Robin Sheppard of Mt. Gay, WV; and brother, Timothy Wayne Lambert of Huntington, WV. Per his request his remains will be cremated. A memorial service and interment with Military Rites will be held at a later date.
