Dollie Queen

Dollie Queen, 100, of Monroe died at 11 a.m. Monday at Medilodge she had been in poor health for four years. Born December 16, 1909 in Wayne County, West Virginia she was the daughter of John and Nannie (Adkins) Patrick. She married Everette Queen and he preceded her in death in 1974. Surviving are her children Grady Smith of Carleton; Mary Jeffrey of Carleton; Dolores Hopkins of New River , West Virginia and Joy Jeffries of Garfield Heights , Ohio ; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband son Danny Queen, brothers, Virgil and Cecil Patrick and sister, Mamie Miller. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday November 13, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Browning officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
