Dion Greenlee, 30 of Logan, WV passed away November 25, 2020 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Dion was born March 8, 1990 at Logan, WV to the late Cheryl Newsome and Dan Adams. Dion enjoyed fitness, spending time with family, gaming, and being on scene at his very special friend, Josh Lukacs’, music videos. Anyone that knew Dion, described him as inspirational, charming, funny, and determined. Dion had a gift to make people laugh. His smile could light up a room. Dion always practiced gratitude and was always up for a challenge. During his time here, he made an impact on so many lives including his friends, family, and children. Dion was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Newsome; and a very special cousin, Harry Williams. Left here to cherish his memories are his wife, Mychaila Greenlee; his two daughters, Akeelah Greenlee (11) and Ma’Kiyah Greenlee (4); two sons, Bryson Workman (10) and Xavion Greenlee (10 months old); his stepson, Brayden Neece (9); his two sisters, Samia Justice and Laetitia Greenlee; his father, Dan Adams; two very special friends, Josh Lukacs and Carl Dean; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 4, 2020 at Akers-James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Josh Lukacs, Carl Dean, Anthony Perrin, Derrick Perrin, Seante Evans, Thomas Tolliver, and Steven Earnest. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made directly to Akers-James Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses. Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic only 25 people will be allowed in the facility at one time and mask coverings must be worn at all times. The services will be live streamed via the link in Dion’s Book of Memories on www.jamesfh.com Online condolences can be left on the website or the Akers-James Funeral Home Facebook page. Akers-James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
