Dicie Baker 55, of Logan passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington after a long illness. She was born July 27, 1959 in Holden, WV a daughter of the late Arnold and Frances Muncy Gore. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her sister in law Brenda Gore. Dicie was a registered nurse at Logan Regional Medical Center for over 20 years. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Homer Baker of Logan, son John Evans Jr. of Ohio. Daughter Christi Baker of Logan, step-daughter Jaime Baker of Chapmanville and a special son Trey Townsend of Logan. She was also survived by her brothers and sister, Bruce (Tonya) Gore of Man, Arnold (Myong) Gore of Chesterfield, VA, Amy (Berbin) Townsend, Logan, Dewey Gore Sr. of Logan, Walter (Hope) Gore of Madison and Jeff (Tracy) Gore of Man. Grandchildren Caitlin, Cade and Chase of Elkins of Chapmanville, John, Kraig and Kole Evans of Ohio. The family would like to thank Dr. Billy Mullen and the Logan Regional Medical Center ICU Staff. Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery Pecks Mill, WV. Friends may call from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at the James Funeral Home Chapel. Online Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com
