Deloris Jane "Jannie" Marcum

Deloris Jane “Jannie” Marcum age 93 of Dingess, W.V., died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Dingess, W.V. She was born May 5, 1923 to the union of Floyd and Bessie (Baisden) Vance. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Wade Marcum. She was also preceded in death by siblings Tony, Lonzo, Carlos Vance, sisters Ivory Jean Keck and Loretta Dempsey, grandchildren Darrell, Timmy, Steven, Brodie and Kayla and son in law Rick Muncey. To the union of Wade and Jannie were surviving children Glen (Mary) Marcum, Wade (Madge) Marcum Jr., Willis Marcum, Nettie Jean (James) Parsley, JoAnn (Jack) Derosette, Ernest (Rosa) Marcum, Paul David (Della) Marcum (with whom she made her home) and Bessie Faye Fleming, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Arnold (Judy), Medley (Christine), Dallas (Merle) and Floyd (Regina). Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2016 at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church in Dingess. Burial will follow in the Wade and Jannie Marcum Family Cemetery.
