Dale Carroll

Dale H. Carroll age 73 of The Villages, Florida formerly of Logan passed away Sunday December 17, 2006 at The Villages Regional Hospital at The Villages, Fla. He was born July 9, 1933 at Hamlin, WV. He was the son of the late Theodore and Marie Bias Carroll. He was former owner and operator of Carroll's Inc. in Logan, WV for over 20 years. He came to The Villages, Fla. from Logan in 2000. He was formerly involved with the Little League, Buddy League where he was the President the Logan High School Athletic Booster Club all of the Logan Area. In Florida he was involved with the Optimist Club. He served with The American Red Cross in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. His hobbies included Golf and he was of the Methodist Faith and he also served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife: Sandra Ferzacca Carroll of The Villages, Florida, Two Sons: Gregory Carroll of The Villages, Florida and Shan Carroll of Christiansburg, Virginia, One Daughter: Kimilen Carroll of Charleston, WV, 8 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday December 27, 2006 at James Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 28, 2006 at Ridgelawn Cemetery on Rt. 60 in Huntington with Rev. Calvin Freeman officiating. James Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
