Corey Danielle Hamaker

Corey Danielle Hamaker, 28 of Logan departed this life Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born May 31, 1993, at Logan to Rosie Adkins and the late Eugene Hamaker. In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandfather, AJ Hamaker.

In addition to her mother, Corey is also survived by her children, Eugene and Rylee Johnson; paternal grandmother, Jerri Hamaker; maternal grandparents, David and Deb Adkins, Ida and Roger Walls; siblings, Kelsey Hamaker, Eugenia Hamaker, and Brett Bailey; fiancé, Paul Balentine; and the father of her children, Ryan Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Frye officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Johnson, Paul Balentine, Timothy Hamaker, Tim Hamaker, Chuck Mullins, and Josh Wilson.
