Clovis Joel Adkins

Clovis Adkins, 76, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born July 31, 1937 in Logan, he was the son of the late Clyde and Ruby Jones Adkins. Clovis was a United States Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Noreen Shell Adkins; and one brother, Bobby Adkins. Those left to cherish his memory are one son, Jeffery Adkins of Omar; two daughters: Sabrina Adkins of Titusville, Florida and Karen Adkins of Micco; four grandchildren: Scott Robinson and Sarah Walker, both of Titusville, Florida and Javan and Coleton Adkins, both of Omar; 4 great-grandchildren: Macey Robinson, Travon Walker, Kendra Robinson, and Isabella Robinson, all of Titusville, Florida; one brother, Eugene Adkins of Toledo, Ohio; one sister, Betha Burnette of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other dear family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the Whitman Community Church with Rev. Joaquin Ooten officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Godby.
