Clifford Lee Chippent

Clifford Lee Chippent, born April 20, 1977, passed away Sunday September 27, 2026 leaving behind a lifetime of memories cherished by his family and friends.

Clifford was born to Peggy and Allen Beavers of Madison Creek, WV, and Melvin and Ruby Caldwell of Lyburn, WV.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Tabitha Meade-Chippent; his grandparents, James and Pauline Caldwell, Millard and Shirley Beavers, and Marg Chippent.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Peggy and Allen Beavers of Madison Creek, WV, and Melvin and Ruby Caldwell of Lyburn, WV; one sister, Julie Hatfield of Madison Creek; two brothers, James (Samantha) Caldwell of Parkersburg, WV, and Allen Beavers II of Virginia; one son, Zachary (Katie) Chippent of Neibert; and four beloved granddaughters.

He also leaves behind a special nephew, Kaleb (Ryan) Caldwell of Lyburn, WV; a special niece, Jamie (Jason) Swaffar of Man, WV; and a special family members, Aaron Caldwell of Lyburn, WV and Selena Caldwell Haney of Huntington, WV, along with a crew of great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and many friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Clifford drove a coal truck for many years, a job he truly loved and took great pride in. He enjoyed spending time with his family and treasured the time they shared together. He especially loved the outdoors and spending time in the mountains, where he enjoyed digging yellow root and ginseng. He also loved hunting, fishing, and simply being outdoors and enjoying the beauty of the mountains he called home.

Clifford was a loving family man who took great pride in those around him. His memories, laughter, and love will live on through the many lives he touched.

Clifford will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to James Funeral Home to help with expenses.
