Claudette Sidebottom

Claudette Sidebottom 63 of Logan passed away Monday, May 9th 2022 at Logan Regional Medical Center.

Claudette was preceded in death by her father, Howard Sidebottom also of Logan.

She is survived by her two loving children Eric Workman of Logan, and Lora (Josh) Bowe of Nashville Tennessee.  She had an incredible bond with both of her children whom will miss her terribly.

She is also survived by her mother Patricia Sidebottom of Logan, brothers Michael (Brenda) Sidebottom of Charleston, Kim (Alice) Sidebottom of Parkersburg, and Bernie (Carolyn) Sidebottom of Crowley Creek.

She’s also survived by a host of nieces, a nephew and so many beloved friends she cherished over the years.

Claudette worked in her family’s business, Valley Market for 40 years.  She was strong, outgoing, and a beauty that she never saw.

She thought of everyone else before herself.  She loved her family with all of her heart.  She also loved her kitties at home.
She spent her life always doing for others never expecting anything in return.
Although we are broken, we know she is now no longer in any type of struggle.  No struggle from pain, no struggle from breathing, no struggle from the shaking from Parkinson’s, and just the struggle she had with everyday life, yet never complained.
She will be eternally loved and missed.

Visitation will be held at Akers-James Funeral Home on Friday May 13th from 6-9 and Funeral services will be held Saturday May 14th at 1pm with Pastor John Godby officiating.  Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.

Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Bowe, Josh Curry, Dallas Nichols, Michael Stallard, Drew Bias, and Adam McClung.
