Claude Bailey

Claude (Tommy) Bailey 67 of Peach Creek left this world Tuesday July 19, 2011 to go home to be with the Lord. He was born August 7, 1943 at Peach Creek a son of Gladys Adkins Bailey of Holden and the late Claude Bailey Sr. Tommy was a disabled coal miner and a member and a deacon of the Peach Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Bernice Frye Bailey of Peach Creek, two daughters Levetta (Glen) Goldie of Monaville and Shannon (Billy) Johnson of Chapmanville, two brothers Oscar (Skippy) and Clare Bailey of Pecks Mill and Ralph (Carolyn) Bailey of Whitman, two sisters Libby Fitch of Monaville and Sarah (Penny) Jim Welch of Stanford, North Carolina, 3 grandchildren Ashley and Alison Goldie of Monaville and Skylar Johnson of Chapmanville and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday July 23, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Faine officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6-9 P.M. Friday July 22, 2010 at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Skylar Johnson, Billy Johnson, Glen Goldie, Joe Ross, Mark and Jimmy Spradlin, Tommy Bailey and Jeremy Bailey. Online condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
