Clara Bloomfield 73 of Parkersburg passed away January 13, 2011 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 20, 1937 in Pike County Kentucky a daughter of the late Alfred and Juanita Justice Caudill.
Clara graduated from Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to pursue a career in nursing and retired after 30 years of service. Clara was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist church. She enjoyed cooking, church, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Deborah G. Wiggins (Phillip) of Reedsville, Ohio, Mary K. Witkosky (Bill) of Parkersburg, and Rose E. Dillon and fiancé Richard Norman of Mequon, Wisconsin. 1 son Mark J. Dillon of Charleston, W.Va.
4 sisters, Pauline White of Cyclone, W.Va., Ida Miller and Patty Adkins of Logan, W.Va., and Betty Workman of Alabama. 3 brothers; Larry Caudill of Gilbert, W.Va., John Caudill of Mallory,W.Va., and Bob Caudill of Gallipolis, Ohio. 7 grandchildren, Ann Life, Sara Wiggins, Brian Boso, Matthew Boso, Aimee Boso, Kristen Dillon, and Ashley Dillon. 7 great-grandchildren, Zachary and Tyler Rockhold, Hannah and Amelia Boso, Quinten and Ethan Boso, and Elizabeth Wilcoxen.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Dillon, her second husband, Ted Bloomfield, a granddaughter Carrie Wiggins, and 2 brothers Delbert and Ralph Caudill.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 16, 2011 at James Funeral Home 400 Main St. W. Logan, W.Va. 25601 with Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in W. Logan.
Visitation will be from 4-8 Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 400 Green St. Parkersburg and from noon until 2:00 PM.Sunday at James Funeral Home in W. Logan, W.Va.
