Charlotte Bowen

Charlotte Bowen, 52 of Verdunville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20th, surrounded by family. Her life was one of meaning, one of love, and most of all a life of laughter. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband and best friend, Randy, daughter, Randi Rachelle (Shawn), son, Jeremy, & granddaughter, Paisley; parents, Charles Hopkins (Tank) & Alicia (Lisa), sister, Angela, all of Verdunville, WV. Brother-in-law, John Bowen (Cecilia) & Sister-in-law, Kelli Bryant. In addition to numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She knew how to light up any room with her bright personality and contagious laugh. She never met a stranger and had a gift to make everyone feel welcome and loved. She loved meeting the needs of people in any way she could. With this deep love of hers she took part in many outreach efforts with her church family. It was important to Charlotte that families had all the food they needed at Christmas, and she spent much of her time throughout the year preparing and raising funds to feed families in need during the holiday season. She will be profoundly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Friends are invited to join the family from 10:00am - 12:00pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the West Logan Church. The ceremony will be officiated by Pastor Scotty Dingess at 12:00 PM. Her earthly body will be carried to its final resting place at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the West Logan Church Benevolence Fund in honor of the ministry Charlotte lead to feed families during the Christmas season.
