Charles (Charlie) Owen Skidmore

Charles Owen “Charlie” Skidmore, 59, of Peach Creek passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at his home. Born August 4, 1955 he was the son of the late Harry and Lessie Frye Skidmore. He was the former owner of the Stardust Lounge in Mt. Gay. Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Cherry Skidmore of Charleston, Charles Owen Skidmore II of Monaville, Jamie Skidmore of Ethel, and Sue Ellen King of Oceana; his grandchildren: Michelle and Ashlee Nelson and Kailyn Kolovich, all of Ethel and Owen Skidmore of Wayne; brothers and sisters: Earl Skidmore, Freddie Skidmore, and Norma Skidmore Phelps, all of Maryland and Glenn and Larry Skidmore of Peach Creek; and a host of nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog Roxy. A visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the James Funeral Home Chapel in Logan.
