Charles Henry Roberts

Charles Henry Roberts, 69, of Peach Creek passed away peacefully surrounded by his family members on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at home. Born February 18, 1945 in McDowell County, he was the son of the late Charles Roberts Sr. and Ida Mullins Roberts; two brothers: Donald (Ona) Roberts and Leroy Roberts. He worked at Rusden Motors for 35 years where he was a mechanic. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 49 years, Dorothy Mae Roberts; son, Charles Allen Roberts; daughter, Linda (Mark) Kraus; granddaughter, Rachel Kraus; three brothers: Glen Roberts, Robert Ray Roberts, and Johnny Roberts; and two sisters: Betty and Linda Lee. A celebration of life will be held at the First Baptist Church of McConnell on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Godby officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill. Friends may call at the church from 11-1 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014.
