Charles Lee Hipshire

Charles Lee Hipshire, 42, of Rum Creek departed this life February 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1975 to the late Harry Lee and Linda (Knipp) Hipshire. Charlie was previously a member of the Main Island Creek Fire Dept and the Rescue Squad at LEASA. He loved his life and loved spending time with his daughter and friends. Charlie is survived by: his precious daughter, Abigail Hipshire; brother, Christopher, Hipshire; and his loving grandmother, Donna Curry. He is also survived by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday February 16, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Rev. Rocky Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in the Chambers Cemetery at Rum Creek. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday also at the funeral home.
