Celia Levinson

Celia Levinson, 67 left this earthly world on Monday, March 30, 2026, after having lived a cherished life of comfort and security. Mrs. Levinson never met a person she did not like and was affable and open to all that met her. She always had a joke ready to tell.

Celia was born on December 17, 1958, to the late Reed Lester and Betty Scott King. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Howell.

She was raised in Grundy, Virginia, and eventually relocated to Logan, West Virginia, when shortly thereafter met her future husband, Larry. Celia had a rough challenging life, but by the time she reached her mid 40’s her life turned around, and good fortune was on the horizon. During the last three months of Celia’s life her health became compromised and declining her loving husband was there to help and care for her until her passing.

Celia worked as a caregiver for many years which gave her tremendous happiness and fulfillment.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her loving husband, Larry Levinson; son, John Howell; brothers, Harley Scott and Dave Scott. Celia is also survived by a host of other friends and family.

Honoring her wishes her remains were cremated.
